following events/participations held outside the school
campus during the grading period and given special
merits/credits in subject areas specified as follows:

specified in the grading system.

Drawing. Painting and other Art Presentations – Arts as
specified in the grading system.
4.
Declamation, Oration, Drama, play and other speeches –
English or Filipino through class recitations and
participations.

Dance – PE and Music as specified in the grading system
6.
Quiz
Bees and other academic contests – according to subject
area through class recitations and participations or as
specified in the grading system.
7.
Trainings, Seminars & Workshops – According to subject
area through class recitations and participations or as
specified in the grading system.

Grading System
West Negros University Integrated School adopts
the guidelines for the implementation of the Basic
Education Curriculum.

Requirements for Graduation
A student must have passed all the subjects listed
in the curriculum in order to graduate. The principal
reserves the right to withhold for graduation any
student who does not meet the curriculum requirements of
the school (as approved by the DepEd).

Graduation with Honors
Selection of Honor Students/ Pupils of the
graduating and non-graduating class in any grade/year
level is governed by the guidelines set by the DepEd.
Specific criteria are observed closely in determining
the Valedictorian, Salutatorian and Five Honorable
Mentions based on DECS Order No. 6 Series of 2005.
