PRIMARY
Designs/redesigns information campaigns
of all important university activities as requested;
Produces updated and department approved
advertising materials;
Makes and arrange placements/ad
distribution to key media outlets (tri-media)
Conducts consistent PR efforts to various
members of external public i.e. secondary schools and
local government units;
Represents WNU in official gathering of
media groups i.e. KBP, SCOOP, NPC, etc.
Conducts school to school campaign during
enrolment period;
Creates programs that are geared to
maintain good relations with industry partners (OJT);
Coordinates with Alumni Foundation on all
alumni matters;
The Director acts as official
spokesperson for the university on the confirmation/
issuance of official statements on the university’s
stand/position on issues involving the organization as
requested for purposes of information;
SECONDARY
Coordinates with all Department Heads for
information on internal and external activities of the
University, thru the offices of the VP’s
AIPRO plans and initiates multi-media
programs and activities geared toward the goal of
strengthening the institutional image of the University
for tri-media exposure and promotion for documentation
purposes.
Collects regularly/monthly newsworthy
announcements, programs and activities emanating from
all departments, colleges and units of the University
for Internal and External tri-media Exposure and
promotion for documentation purposes;
Assists in the organization and
implementation of tri-media coverage, exposure and
promotion of activities and programs of particular
colleges or departments as requested;
Facilitate web queries;
Assists in design-provision of school’s
merchandising give-away;
Work in synergy with RBH-WNU referred
marketing scheme;
Participate in at least 3 city wide
education related activities by the Council on the
Committee on Education;
Helping WNU PR-useful departments i.e.
FOREST Inc., CELL, DESIRE, CSMDO, NSTP, CICT;
Screens and approves for posting
information campaign materials;
PERIPHERALS
Screens and approves for posting
information campaign materials;
Performs information-related tasks not
defined in the list which the VP for Administration may
assign on specific official time;
Assumes other functions, duties and
responsibilities related to and/or implied from the
above.
